Indian sellers to participate in Black Friday sales on Amazon

Amazon India will provide a platform to around 37,000 Indian sellers to sell their products globally during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales on its e-commerce platform where the Indian sellers will be offering over 120 million products accessories, cookware, clothing, toys, home decor, arts and crafts made in India to a global audience through Amazon’s global selling program.

Amazon with its global reach was an early entrant into global selling and currently has over 37,000 sellers who sell their products on the company’s global e-commerce marketplaces.Amazon said in a statement that as part of its global selling programme, Amazon has been enabling Indian exporters to sell their products across the world claiming that the Indian exporters, who were part of the global selling program last year, witnessed a revenue growth accounting for nearly 1.5 times year-on-year during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping season in 2017.

The Seattle based company is focusing on its global selling programme to drive the next phase of growth for the company in India.
