The Garment Technology Expo (GTE’20) 2020 edition concluded in dehi recently. Designed to provide a mega platform to the industry, GTE has proven to be a lucrative the opportunity for the industry to come across latest technologies worldwide. The year was special for the organisers as the exhibition completed its 20years. On the occasion Ricky sahani Managing Director GTE said, “This time we are focused on improved infrastructure and emphasised on Going Green.”
on all three days, GTE saw around 15,000 visitors during four day exhibition from all parts of India. Most of the companies focused on automatic technology as in these tough times when labour cost is high only machines with automation can prove to be cost efficient.
Also, a lot of companies brought sustainable technologies that can save power, water and other resources.
Another observation by our team that actively captured the exhibition on all the four days was that whole export market still remains sluggish good movement of business is seen in domestic manufacturing as demand for fast fashion is growing in India at a very fast pace.
With retail chains like shoppers shop? V2 also getting into manufacturing the demand for machinery is good in the segment. In the phase of slowdown the exhibition proved to be good platform for manufacturers looking for one stop solution.
