Indian textile company Raymond to open 15 Ethnix stores

Raymond, an Indian textile major, will soon add 15 more standalone physical retail stores for its ethnic brand Ethnix. The objective is to take business Rs. 100 crore level in the near future.

The conventional wear label presently retails from 40 Raymond exclusive brand outlets (EBOs), 5 large format stores, in 360 multi-brand outlets across India, and on Raymond’s e-commerce website.

The label is also working on manufacturing new fabrics. The focus will be on introducing international fashion trends as well, embroidery and colours. “The label takes creating exclusive collections seriously, going through a very long research and development procedure, which includes market research and understanding future trends, leading up to the final execution of the product,” reportedly said Bidyut Bhanjdeo, Brand Director – Next Look & Ethnix.

Ethnix has emerged to be a high-growth brand for Raymond in 2018. The business is keen to continue the growth trend, expecting 50 percent improvement in sales in the next two seasons via offering kurtas, sherwanis, bundis, and bandhgalas.
