Liva's Sustainable Fashion Showcase Set to Debut at Bharat Tex 2024

India’s leading fabric brand, Liva, is excited to announce its participation in Bharat Tex 2024, a global textile mega event celebrating the seamless fusion of culture and business. Organized by a consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, this prestigious event is scheduled to take place from February 26-29 in New Delhi.

Liva’s presence at Bharat Tex 2024 underscores the brand’s steadfast commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sustainable practices within the textile industry. By showcasing its expertise and dedication to sustainable fashion, Liva solidifies its position as a frontrunner in the field.

Bharat Tex 2024 promises to be a vibrant tapestry of tradition and technology, attracting key players from the textile world. This unique platform will spotlight India’s entire textile value chain while highlighting strengths in fashion, traditional crafts, and sustainability initiatives.

The event will feature exhibitions, knowledge sessions, thematic discussions, Government-to-Government (G2G) meetings, Business-to-Business (B2B) networks, product launches, thematic and interactive pavilions, and various other activities.

Distinguished guests, including the Prime Minister, top policymakers, global CEOs, international exhibitors, and global buyers, are expected to grace the event, making it a landmark gathering for the global textile community.

Liva, embodying eco-consciousness at every stage of its production process, ensures sustainability and responsible resource utilization. Its fabrics, delivered through an accredited value chain, serve as a beacon of environmentally friendly fashion. Notably, Livaeco by Birla Cellulose has gained global acceptance due to its sustainable credentials. This fabric features a unique molecular tracer facilitating source verification across the value chain, while complete information on the fiber’s journey from forest to fashion is conveniently accessible through a QR code.

Furthermore, Birla Cellulose is intensifying its production of Liva Reviva, a circular fiber crafted from pre-consumer cotton waste and closed-loop technologies. Liva Reviva distinguishes itself with exceptional sustainability features, including significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions and water usage compared to conventional viscose fibers.

ManMohan Singh, CMO of Birla Cellulose, remarked,

“Liva’s participation in Bharat Tex 2024 underscores its unwavering commitment to sustainable fashion and its pivotal role in driving positive change within the textile industry. We are thrilled and proud to showcase our products at such a prestigious event. We eagerly anticipate engaging with industry leaders, exchanging ideas, and forging partnerships that will shape the future of textiles.”
