P.Gunasekaran, managing director, IMA Asia shared with PS, “The focus of IMA for Texprocess is the single-ply concept. It is of course very new for India but very adoptable solution for Europe. The tailor-made factories, which are focusing on high value garments and made-to-measure are the target market.”
IMA is specialised in handling and management systems of cloth rolls, spreading solutions, automatic cutting machines and software programs for the complete organisation of the cutting room with the reputation of being the pioneers of Industry 4.0 with their latest creation: “Syncro Cutting Room”.
MirellaSardini, Executive Managing Director, IMA S.P.A sharing about the Texprocess visitors said, “The visitors are coming from all over the world. Some big groups from Sri lankalike Brandix, MAS Holdings group were seen and many were from South America, Asia, Bangladesh.
Adding to the new machine details, she shared, “We can see in real time video when the machine is stopped and where has it stopped. There are upgrades in terms of speed and some new features such as the bridge is controlled by two motors separately so it is more stable and there are two cutting heads.” At the exhibition, two lines of new cutters, which are completely renewed with new technology and have special cables that control motors were also seen.
Gunasekaran further added, “It’s a new machine with software and hardware update that gives more adoptability to the operators.” The company reported a positive response at the exhibition and was mostly seen crowded with visitors who showed a lot of interest in their newest technology.
