Dubai’s Splash Fashions bets big on ‘digital’ to hasten business in India

Gulf fashion retailer Splash is planning to bolster its online presence in India to improve its growth rate. The company has reportedly collaborated with Asia’s leading omnichannel platform Ace Turtle for the same.

Nitin Chhabra, CEO of Ace Turtle, averred, “Splash Fashion, over the years, has witnessed tremendous growth in India, having captured the fashion preference of Indian consumers. We are excited to partner with them and look forward to playing a significant role in scaling up Splash Fashion’s omnichannel offerings.”

The aim of the fashion retail player is to fetch higher sales revenue in the years to come.

Abhinav Zutshi, COO of Splash India, said, “As a part of our larger focus on building our omnichannel strategy, we have partnered with Ace Turtle and are confident that their expertise as a technology platform will help us in accelerating our growth across various sales channels.”

The retailer feels that as omnichannel retailing is continuing to mature and the lines between online and physical store blurring, the significance of having a constant existence across a variety of sales channels is extreme.

Markedly, Splash is the largest fashion retailer in the Middle East, and it is owned by Landmark Group. in terms of physical presence, it has 20 stores in India. The aim is to make it 50 by 2021 with an investment of around Rs. 150 crore.
