Digital textile printing technology provider Epson launches new fluorescent inks

Japan-based digital textile printing technology provider, Epson and its subsidiary For.Tex that produces dyes, thickeners and textile pre/post-treatment products, have launched Genesta Fluorescent Flavin and Genesta Fluorescent Pink colours, mostly adored in swimwear and sportswear segments.

“The availability of these new inks allows printers to meet their customers’ needs, who will be able to expand their offering for other market sectors. In addition to their traditional fields of application, the women clothing industry also shows an interest in these fluorescent effects,” said Pietro Roncoroni, Chairman of For.Tex.”

The company claims that Genesta inks meet the highest quality standards in terms of production reliability and colour fastness of prints on all fibres.

The line includes acid, reactive, disperse, pigment and sublimation inks which reduce the cleaning cycles of the heads, thus plummeting consumption.
