Gokaldas Exports Ltd has appointed Manoj Arora as Head of Sustainability, marking a strategic leadership move as the company strengthens its focus on ESG-driven growth within the apparel manufacturing sector.
A seasoned environmental, social and governance (ESG) and corporate responsibility professional, Arora brings over 25 years of diverse experience across sustainability, corporate responsibility, human resources, and governance functions in global organisations.
Prior to this, he served as Vice President – ESG and CSR at Pearl Global Industries Ltd, where he played a pivotal role over a long-standing association spanning nearly a decade. During his tenure, he was instrumental in embedding ESG frameworks into business operations and driving measurable environmental and social impact.
Arora’s expertise spans stakeholder engagement, implementation of global sustainability frameworks such as GRI and BRSR, and leading cross-functional initiatives to build responsible and inclusive business practices.
This appointment aligns with a broader industry shift, as Indian apparel exporters strengthen ESG capabilities to meet evolving regulatory standards and sustainability benchmarks.
