Arvind Fashions Limited has announced the appointment of Lakshmi Krishnan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over 25 years of extensive global HR leadership experience spanning India, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom, Lakshmi brings a strong track record in organisational transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, and building future-ready capabilities across multinational organisations.
Prior to joining AFL, Lakshmi was associated with Unilever, where she led Human Resources for Corporate Functions at the company’s global headquarters in London. In this role, she partnered closely with senior leadership teams to drive large-scale organisational transformation initiatives across a workforce of more than 5,000 employees.
Lakshmi also played a significant role in leading HR for Unilever’s Global Procurement business, where she spearheaded initiatives focused on inclusion, capability enhancement, leadership development, and performance transformation at scale. Her experience in navigating complex global business environments and building agile, people-centric organisations is expected to further strengthen AFL’s growth and talent strategy.
