Wolverine Worldwide has appointed Amit Mahadevia, P.E., as its new Director of Sustainability & ESG Strategy, strengthening the company’s focus on environmental responsibility and its efforts to reduce its environmental impact.
Mahadevia brings more than two decades of experience spanning environmental engineering and corporate sustainability, with recent experience in the footwear industry. His appointment is expected to support Wolverine Worldwide’s ongoing sustainability commitments and its broader environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.
Prior to joining Wolverine Worldwide, Mahadevia spent five years at Under Armour as Senior Manager – Environmental Sustainability. His professional experience also includes roles at CDM Smith and GreenVest LLC, where he gained experience relevant to environmental management and sustainability.
In his new role, Mahadevia will contribute his expertise and guidance as Wolverine Worldwide continues to advance its sustainability initiatives and pursue a lower-impact business model.
