This Indian textile company is using sustainable fabric to make denim

At Apsom Technologies a wide range of digital printing technologies like Konica Minolta Nassenger’s Pro 120, and dye sublimation paper transfer printer garnered a positive response. “The new innovation in pigmenting is very much required for home textile segment these days and thus we have focused on the same,” said Vir Vikram Bhatia, MD, Apsom Technologies.

“We have a distinct identity in the apparel industry as all spare parts used in machines are from Konica Minolta which creates good quality and consistent performance. “Demand is growing, however, there are lot of changes for instance initially when digital printing was launched it was a product only, but now it is no longer just a product it is also about lot of value additions and services,” he explained.

Bhatia mentioned that these days the market for high speed machines as well as low speed machines is good. “The garment manufacturers are looking for semi- automatic machines,” he added. The company will be launching some new products in pigmentation which will eliminate the complicated processes and will cut down on water consumption.

As far as the response from exhibition is concerned he said, “It is quite good, this is our fourth edition and we can see a lot of improvement already,” he concluded.
