Prashantt T Aundhkaar has begun an exciting new chapter in his professional journey as Vice President – Sourcing at Benetton India. In this leadership role, he will focus on strengthening sourcing strategies, deepening supplier partnerships, and driving operational efficiencies to support the brand’s growth and sourcing excellence in India.
He brings with him strong experience from within the Benetton Group, where he has held senior responsibilities across sourcing, technical, and quality assurance functions. In his role as Vice President – Technical & Quality Assurance, Prashantt played a key role in upholding global quality standards, improving processes, and ensuring consistent product excellence across the supply base.
Earlier in his career, Prashantt was associated with J C Penney Purchasing, managing quality and sourcing operations across multiple regions including India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Kenya, and Mauritius. His work included implementing corporate quality standards, leading regional QA teams, managing inspection partners, training teams, and driving continuous supplier improvement through data-led quality metrics.
Prashantt has also held leadership and technical roles at TPG Wholesale Private Limited, Intertek, Aditya Birla Retail Limited, Gerber Childrenswear, and Levi Strauss & Co., building a strong foundation in quality management, product development, compliance, and large-scale apparel operations. His broad industry exposure and hands-on expertise position him well to lead sourcing initiatives at Benetton India.
