In a decisive move under the leadership of new CEO Jonathan Schulman, Burberry has announced the appointment of two key executives, signaling a strategic effort to rejuvenate the iconic British brand.
Jonathan Kiman, a seasoned marketing expert with 12 years of experience at Gucci, has been appointed as Burberry’s new Chief Marketing Officer, taking over from Rod Manley.
Additionally, Laura Dubin-Wander has been named President of the Americas. Dubin-Wander brings a wealth of experience from senior positions at prestigious brands, including Diesel and Margiela owner OTB, Coach, and LVMH’s Christian Dior Couture and Givenchy.
These appointments come as Schulman embarks on a mission to revitalize Burberry, which has struggled with stagnant revenues over the past decade. The company reported a 17.5% decline in sales during the first half of 2024, underscoring the urgency of this leadership shakeup.
