Austrian fibre manufacturer, Lenzing Group has appointed Jürgen Eizinger as new Vice President of Global Business Management Nonwovens Division. He has assumed his role today.
In his new role, Eizinger will lead the development and execution of a variety of business strategies with a focus on driving the awareness of the sustainability focused VEOCEL™ brand.
His global knowledge across sales, expansion strategy and analysis will place him well to drive bigger value to Lenzing’s nonwovens business.
“Jürgen’s extensive experience and industry knowledge will greatly contribute to Lenzing’s nonwovens business and further bolster our leadership team,” says Robert van de Kerkhof, Chief Commercial Officer of Lenzing Group.
In another development, Wolfgang Plasser will take forward Lenzing’s thrust on quality assurance as Lead of Global QM & TCS at Lenzing. His expertise in technical and commercial aspects of the textile and nonwovens industries will help the company to focus on improving customer-centric quality management systems.
Notably, VEOCEL™ fibers’ qualities such as liquid absorption make them a key ingredient for nonwovens such as sanitary and baby care products, facial sheet masks, cosmetic pads, and all other kinds of wet and dry wipes.

The fibers are from botanic origin and combine advanced performance, comfort and sustainability for everyday consumer and end-user needs.
These fibers come from the renewable raw material wood produced by photosynthesis and are certified bio-based. Also, they are biodegradable and can wholly get back to nature.
