SIP- ITALY Creating Niche in Innovative Denim Technology

AtTexprocess, 2019, Sip-Italy a division of TOR.MEC AMBROSI Srl, specializing in the development and production of automatic units for Jeans and Trousers came up with latest technology for denims and showcased solutions for a Green Jeans Factory 4.0. SIP-ITALY,

Dario Morandin, technical director of TOR.MEC AMBROSI Srl, shared with team Perfect Sourcing about the range of technologies being made by the company. “At the Texprocess we have displayed several new products, starting from new automatic pocket hemming unit, available with option auto robot feeder device,  new automatic J-Stitch unit for left and right style of J-Stitch, new back pocket design with two sewing heads, giving an incredible productivity of 5000 pockets / 8 hours, as well available with Auto Robot Feeder.

The company also launched its new division ONO Lean Logistics, a new scalable and full automatize storage system for apparel and textile industries that can store fabric rolls, accessories like zippers, threads, spare parts and sewing machines accessories, ready- made garments, conic yarn for knit and so on. SEWBI, a new concept of Business Intelligence applied to Sewing department was also launched by the company and it displayed a demo of 3D Virtual Technical assistance.

“In few words we are expanding our operations in order to offer a range of products and service to set up the most modern apparel factory,” said Giorgio Morandin, sales director of the company who is aggressively working towards the growth of the company in terms of market share in worldwide market.

This is why we are simply the best,” added Giorgio.

David Peter, Country Manager-Head of Operation, India said, “Since we are into automated machines, the first requirement is service support. How the machine operates and what they do- all the guidance is provided after the purchase.  At the moment, we have resident technical staff in Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmadabad for service after sales. We support our customers not only in terms of service, our aim is to help the user to achieve the best productivity.”

David affirmed that India has a good market for SIP Italy and demand for the machines are increasing because customers understand first the level of quality of the machines, there is more deep analyse for some important themes as manufacture machinery process, running cost, spare part availability, productivity, R.O.I..

“Customer used to purchase the machines only because other used to purchase, now customer wants first to know and understand howautomation can increase their production and reduce labour cost and how to avoid the troubles when the automatic unit stops,” averred David.

The company received amazing response at the exhibition with visitors from all over the world visiting their booth and were seen showing lot of interest and curiosity in machines being displayed.
