Kidswear brand Toonz expands physical retail space in North India

India-based kidswear retailer Toonz Retail is expanding its physical presence in the country. The fashion retailer opened its new store in (Raebareli) Uttar Pradesh recently. The store is spread over an area of 1,500 square feet, offering premium shopping experience to customers with ranges starting from INR 199.

The company reportedly said that North India has always been its one of the most preferred markets and it looks forward to expand Tier II and III cities because of the increasing demand for quality kids products. This makes Uttar Pradesh a potential market for the brand.

At the new store, an inclusive line of kids’ products including fashion, baby care, nursery, toys, school supplies and much more is up for grabs under brands Wow Mom, Superyoung and Superyoung Celebrations. Outside lables such as Luvlap, Avent, Chicco, Himalaya, Tiffy Toffey, Mothercare, Mitashi, Funskool and Mattel have also been stocked at the store.

Currently, the kidswear brand runs more than 100 stores in 52 Indian cities, offering a broad range of products for kids from 0-12 years of age.

It is pertinent to mention here that Toonz aims to double its store count to 200 in the next two years and achieve a turnover of Rs. 100 crore in 2018-19 financial year.
