MoT and ColorJet Chairman highlight Sustainability and ‘Make in India’

At Bharat Tex 2025, one of India’s most prominent textile industry events, M.S. Dadu, Chairman of ColorJet Group, met with the Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, to discuss the future of sustainable textile printing and India’s leadership in manufacturing technology under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

During the meeting, Dadu highlighted ColorJet’s commitment to providing sustainable and eco-friendly textile printing solutions. He emphasized the company’s latest innovations in digital textile printing, which focus on reducing water and energy consumption.

He also reiterated ColorJet’s role in supporting India’s textile industry through advanced indigenous technology, aligning with the government’s vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Hon’ble Minister Shri Giriraj Singh underscored the importance of sustainable solutions in textiles and the need for continued development in India.

He commended ColorJet as an India-origin company delivering sustainable digital printing technology and praised its contributions to the industry.

The discussion also touched on India’s growing potential as a global textile hub, with increasing exports to key markets such as Europe, Indonesia, and beyond. Today, digital printing technology plays a vital role in modernizing designs, enhancing production capacity, and minimizing environmental impact.
