SHAHI EXPORTS PRODUCES 50,000 MASKS MADE BY MEMBERS OF WOMEN SELF HELP GROUPS

More than 50,000 masks have been produced by 40 members of women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) in our skill development center in Sambalpur, Odisha for police personnel, government officials, and healthcare professionals. Earlier this year, the company trained the women on sewing skills in partnership with the District Administration of Sambalpur so that they can produce uniforms for Anganwadi schools.

RotondiHowever, as the production of these uniforms got delayed, SE  partnered with the District Administration to repurpose the training center to produce over 2,000 masks/day.
