Talking about the market situation, Ponnuswamy Gunasekaran, Managing Director, IMA Asia told Perfect Sourcing, “We are looking forward to a hopeful 2020 once the Bangladesh-USA trade agreement is over. We have a stable business but the market is not very positive overall. For last few months it is becoming a little hopeful slowly. Govt. is least bothered about textile industry and I think this industry needs more focus for improvement of market situation.”
Gurusekaran further apprised us: “We had launched Typhoon in 2017 and have already started installing more. 6 machines have been installed in India itself and 10+ all over Asia. Tunisia, Bangladesh, Italy and Pakistan have this technology.”
He further added, “We are coming with the new ‘Syncro cutting room’ which is a solution for Industry 4.0.”
