Garment Technology Expo 2019: IMA Asia Launching Industry 4.0-backed Series

IMA Asia, established in 1977, is exhibiting at Garment Technology Expo 2019 in New Delhi, India. The company is going to launch a new series of equipment device of electronics, “Syncro Cutting Room”.

Notably, the company is specialized in handling and management system of cloth rolls, spreading solutions, automatic cutting machines and software programs for the complete organization of the cutting room.

Talking about the market situation, Ponnuswamy Gunasekaran, Managing Director, IMA Asia told Perfect Sourcing, “We are looking forward to a hopeful 2020 once the Bangladesh-USA trade agreement is over. We have a stable business but the market is not very positive overall. For last few months it is becoming a little hopeful slowly. Govt. is least bothered about textile industry and I think this industry needs more focus for improvement of market situation.”

Gurusekaran further apprised us: “We had launched Typhoon in 2017 and have already started installing more. 6 machines have been installed in India itself and 10+ all over Asia. Tunisia, Bangladesh, Italy and Pakistan have this technology.”

He further added, “We are coming with the new ‘Syncro cutting room’ which is a solution for Industry 4.0.”
