Uncertainty in garment sector is not new, but the Corona pandemic has actually changed the norms for industry in a big way.

While reviewing the situation in garment sector Team PERFECT SOURCING found that even the most professional and important hub known for its quality and product innovation; Bangalore is also hit badly.

The production capacity though has fared better than the other garment clusters and almost 70% to 80 % of production capacity is being utilised.

The placement of order situation differs from company to company and buyer to buyer.

“It is a mixed bag as there are some buyers who are placing orders like before and some who are not,” said Naseer Humayun, MD, Indian Designs.
