Deepika Praveen has shared her excitement about beginning a new chapter in her career as Sourcing Manager – India Region at Lacoste Sourcing Operations. In this role, she will focus on strengthening sourcing capabilities, driving supplier collaboration, and supporting Lacoste’s sourcing and product strategies across the Indian market.
Prior to joining Lacoste, Deepika built a strong sourcing career at Ralph Lauren, where she progressed through roles including Sourcing Specialist (Knits), Senior Sourcing Specialist, and Associate Sourcing Manager. During her tenure, she gained extensive experience in product sourcing, garment costing, capacity utilization, and merchandising strategies, while working closely with vendors to align quality, timelines, and commercial objectives.
Earlier in her career, Deepika was associated with Tesco Sourcing as a Commercial Merchandiser for kids’ and babies’ categories across jersey and woven products. She played a key role in managing supplier relationships, overseeing end-to-end merchandising activities, and supporting sourcing strategies with a strong focus on communication and execution.
Her professional journey also includes merchandising roles with Ambattur Clothing Ltd, Fifth Avenue Impex Pvt Ltd, Karle Group, and Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited, where she worked with leading international brands across woven and knit categories. With her deep sourcing expertise and well-rounded industry exposure, Deepika is well positioned to contribute to Lacoste’s sourcing operations in India.
