Avik Banerjee has shared that he is excited to begin a new chapter in his professional journey as Manager, Traceability Global Supply at PVH Corp. In this role, Avik will focus on strengthening traceability and transparency across global supply chains—an area that has become central to the future of responsible and sustainable fashion.
Avik brings with him deep expertise in materials, sustainability, and global supply chain strategy. Prior to joining PVH Corp., he was associated with H&M Group, where he played key roles as Material Program Lead – Material and Components and Material Program Manager – Global Material Innovation and Strategy. During his tenure, he worked extensively on material innovation, strategic sourcing, and aligning material programs with sustainability and business goals across regions.
Before H&M Group, Avik spent several years at Carrefour Global Sourcing, where he held leadership roles including Sustainable Product Manager and Supply Chain Sustainability Project Manager. His work there focused on embedding sustainability into product development, managing complex supply chains, and driving projects aimed at improving environmental and social performance. Earlier in his career, Avik also worked with H&M as a Materials Specialist and Supply Chain Specialist, gaining hands-on experience across India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
Avik’s professional foundation was further strengthened at CottonConnect, where he managed organic and sustainable cotton programs, conducted value chain analysis from farm to garment, led data-driven reporting for global brands, and worked closely with sourcing teams to integrate sustainable fibers into supply chains. He began his career as an Associate Consultant at Technopak Advisors, contributing to large-scale textile and apparel sector projects involving government bodies and manufacturing units. With this rich and diverse experience, Avik is well positioned to make a meaningful impact in his new global role at PVH Corp.
