Vivek Sandhwar brings over two decades of experience spanning retail, brand management, product strategy, marketing and omnichannel growth to his new leadership role at Arvind Limited.
Arvind Limited has announced the appointment of Vivek Sandhwar as Business Head – The Arvind Store (TAS) and AD, effective July 2026. The move strengthens the company’s retail leadership as it looks to accelerate growth and enhance consumer engagement across its retail businesses.
In his expanded mandate, Sandhwar will be responsible for driving business growth, retail performance and consumer initiatives across TAS and AD. He will also oversee the consumer and marketing functions for Arvind’s fabrics business, bringing together retail, brand and consumer-focused responsibilities under his leadership.
Sandhwar joins Arvind with more than 20 years of experience across fashion, apparel and lifestyle businesses. Most recently, he was associated with Being Human Clothing, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for close to four years. His mandate covered retail, department stores, distribution, e-commerce, marketing and product functions, along with overall P&L responsibility.
During his tenure, he helped expand Being Human Clothing’s retail footprint to more than 750 points of sale while contributing to the development of its omnichannel model and strengthening the brand’s market positioning.
Before joining Being Human Clothing, Sandhwar spent over three years with Raymond Limited, serving as Chief Product Officer and Director – Marketing & Visual Merchandising. His responsibilities included product and category strategy for Parx and Accessories, alongside marketing, visual merchandising and digital initiatives for ColorPlus, Park Avenue, Parx, Ethnix and Raymond Ready-to-Wear.
As Brand Director for ColorPlus, he was also involved in repositioning the brand with a stronger sport-lifestyle identity, reflecting his experience in translating brand strategy into consumer propositions.
His career includes another significant stint with Arvind Fashions Limited, where he led the kidswear portfolio covering U.S. Polo Assn. Kids, The Children’s Place and Flying Machine Kids.
Earlier, at Indus League Clothing, Sandhwar managed a portfolio with approximately ₹140 crore in P&L responsibility, spanning international sports and lifestyle brands including Converse, Umbro and Champion.
Sandhwar’s association with the Arvind group also goes back several years. During his nearly nine-year tenure with Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited, he held multiple leadership positions, including Assistant Business Head for U.S. Polo Assn. and Head of Marketing. His work during this period included building high-profile brand associations involving cricketer Virat Kohli and several IPL teams, helping strengthen the brand’s visibility among Indian consumers.
His professional journey began with roles in design and category management, including stints at Levi Strauss & Co. and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail. At Levi Strauss & Co., Sandhwar was notably the first designer appointed for the Levi’s brand in India, marking the beginning of a career that has since evolved across design, product, marketing, retail and business leadership.
With his combination of retail P&L expertise, brand building, product knowledge, omnichannel experience and consumer marketing, Sandhwar’s appointment positions him to play a significant role in the next phase of growth for The Arvind Store, AD and Arvind’s wider fabrics business.
