Abhishek brings a strong foundation in buying, merchandising, and retail analytics, developed over years of experience in leading fashion and retail organizations. Prior to joining Apparel Group India, he had an impressive tenure with Hummel, where he advanced through multiple roles — from Assistant Manager to Manager – Buying & Merchandising. During his time there, he was responsible for merchandise planning, pricing strategy, trend forecasting, competitive analysis, and business reporting, contributing significantly to revenue growth and assortment optimization.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek gained valuable experience with Stanmax and 612 League, where he honed his skills in retail merchandising, buying, and product planning, managing end-to-end product lifecycles and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align assortments with consumer preferences and market trends.
His professional journey began with internships at Raymond Limited and Max Fashion India, where he developed a solid understanding of retail planning, data analytics, sales performance evaluation, and merchandising operations.
