Sustainable fabric finishing innovations to be presented by Jeanologia at ITMA Asia ’19

Jeanologia, the leader in providing sustainable finishing solutions to the textile industry internationally, will present its innovation — from fabric to garment finishing — at the forthcoming ITMA Asia exhibition.

The fair is slated to take place from 15-19 October 2018 at National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai, China.

“With our innovative technology, the Chinese textiles industry will be able to reduce their environmental footprint and improve their production costs, overcoming these two challenges that are so important to its future,” said Borja Trénor, Asia Pacific Director.

Notably, China is one of the countries in the world with the highest pollution — 70 percent of its rivers are polluted. With Jeanologia technology, dehydration and detoxification of jeans will be attained. “At ITMA, we will show the keys to reaching it and achieving an authentic green revolution,” the company said.

At the show, Jeanologia will showcase its new G2Dynamic that has been developed to redefine the process of fabric finishing without using water and chemicals. This enhances end-results during laser, ozone and e-flow processes.

In addition, the fabric treated with this new process facilitates the garment finishing, getting more sustainable results and strengthening the results of the laser, by making it faster and more competent.

Jeanologia will also demonstrate ‘Laundry 5.Zero’, a garment finishing unit that guarantees zero infectivity and achieves 85 percent savings in water usage.

The company believes Laundry 5.Zero covers everything required to achieve 5.Zero finishes (zero discharge, zero manual scraping, zero PP spray, zero stone washing and zero bleach).
