Apparel Retailer Max Fashion Opens New Store In Goa

Landmark Group’s apparel brand Max Fashion has expanded its retail network in the Indian state of Goa. The retailer has opened its first store in the city of Margao.

The store was inaugurated by Bollywood actress Yami Gautam.



The new store is spread over a total area of 14,000 sq ft and has two levels with separate floors for ladies, men and kids wear.

The Margao store is Max Fashion’s third store in Goa. Its previous two outlets in the state are in Porvorim and Vasco.

The apparel retailer is mulling to open three more stores in Goa it looks to close the year with 300 stores in India.

Raghu Rajgopalan, Chief Operating Officer at Max Fashion said, “We are very excited to launch our third outlet in Goa in such a short span. The move is in line with our overall target of unveiling 300 new stores by the end of the financial year 2019.”

Further, Max Fashion is eyeing revenue of Rs. 3,600 crore for the fiscal year 2018-19.



“We are widely accepted by the urban population for our affordable pricing. We have plans of opening three more stores in Panaji, Mapusa, and Ponda in the future,” the COO added.

Currently, Max Fashion has a presence of around 280 stores in India. It aims to have 500 stores by the year 2022.
