The conglomerate behemoth Reliance Industries recently joined hands with VF Corporation, one of world’s finest denim makers, to produce moisture control products for their brand Wrangler which is quite a favourite in the apparel market. The product is expected to make its debut in the Asia Market in 2018 under their spring-summer collection.
The company has recently launched an umbrella brand R|Elan, to venture into co-branded apparels, and this ally is part of this strategy.
The company in a public statement has confirmed that their research and development team andtheir constant efforts to improve their expertise in fibre reengineering has resulted into a creation of portfolio of specialityfibre called R|Elan that enhances the performance in any apparel made out of it, the company attributes active wear, denim, formal wear, casual wear, ethnic wear with this special fibre apparel line. Though the company has refused to share any commercial strategy details with the media sources have confirmed that they target to sell 2.5 lakh pairs of trousers made from the fibre in the first season in Asia market such as India, China, Japan andThailand in 2018
